Release Notes: Mobile Text Marketing

• Cache mobile carrier lookup results and rely on them for 30 days rather than performing additional lookups.

• Added validation to reject references to bit.ly links (as a known source of spam) inside mobile messages through programmed validation controls.

• Improved handling of non-GSM character reporting in mobile campaign creation.
• Cleaned up the non-GSM character messaging in mobile message editor. Added a check for non-GSM chars on each keystroke, including copy/paste, and instantaneous error messaging. As soon as the bad character is removed, the error message disappears.
• Automatically opting in new patrons from Waitbusters Online Ordering to official mobile marketing list.

• Filtering send failure errors (unsupported mobiles) from future SMS text campaigns to avoid reporting the same send errors repeatedly.
• Updated patron password reset procedure to use 10 digit long codes when applicable.

• Enhanced mobile communication by adding a new Reply action icon to the Mobile Message Log that allows users to respond directly to texters for efficient 2 way communication from your back office account.  
• Added new notification option in SETTINGS> User profiles that delivers bounceback replies from patrons texting back to your keyword to your email inbox.
• Added checkbox on the Mobile Create Campaign page that allows users to override the black-out window on specific campaigns and schedule a message to send early morning.
• Added enhancement that allows users to add non-automated surveys (ad hoc) to mobile text or scheduled email campaigns. The feature adds a shortened URL link to the message by inserting the survey tag.
• Updated search queries on Mobile Marketing> Mobile Message Log to improve search capability and result accuracy.
• Upgraded host to now allow Home Phone # identification in Virtual Terminal and other POS terminal (i.e., VeriFone, Clover, POSitouch) when no mobile number value exists.
• Added action link to open Virtual Terminal from the eGift Card Reporting page for ease of manually adding a gift load bonus to a recently sold eGift card online.
• Upgraded survey results filtering for improved search performance and reporting. Users can now search survey results by patron, response, question, date and rating (# of stars).
• Updated search queries on Digital Coupon Activity Report to improve search capability and result accuracy

• Upgraded Mobile Text Marketing to have capability of delivering messages on a merchant's private 10 digit Long Code.

• Fixed {coupon} tag so if a letter is typed directly before or after {coupon} it will return an error message on screen to avoid hyperlink breaks
• Adjusted the blackout window for sending multiple mobile campaigns within the same day from 24 hours to 15 minutes.
• Added logic to detect whether a user sent their latest draft as a SEND TEST before allowing it to be scheduled for delivery. If not, present warning message
• Suppressed ability to select or press the ENTER key which historically created paragraph breaks that took campaigns over the character count limit unknown to the user.

• Added ability for users to save mobile campaign drafts and work on them later similar to our Scheduled email marketing editor
• Added URL shortener button to Create Campaign page for linking to external pages.
• Added Show Tags button of supported {tags}
