You need the Register or Sale app installed on your unique Clover device.
Installation Instructions
Tap More Tools from your Clover home screen to open the app marketplace.
Type “Loyal Patron” in the search field box and select Loyal Patron. Alternatively, you can tap the badge image below to access our page in the Clover marketplace.
Tap the green Connect button.
Choose desired Subscription Plan. All plans include a 30-day free trial before your account is billed. Your subscription service includes unlimited gift card/rewards transaction processing across your Clover devices per location. Tap Connect to advance.
The app will automatically start downloading. Tap Open to open the app.
A Clover Device Activation Request Form will display. Complete the form fields. Your Clover device’s unique serial number will automatically display inside the proper field. If the device serial number does not auto populate in the form for some reason, return to Home screen, go to Setup, tap Devices on left hand margin and note the ID# column on screen. Enter this ID# exactly inside the Clover Device Activation Request form.
If you cannot find the serial number from the Setup> Device screen return to Home and tap Settings and start typing "serial number" in the Search field at the top until the option to select "Serial number" is visible. Enter this ID# exactly inside the Clover Device Activation Request form.
Tap Submit when complete which generates an email submission to our Technical Support department. Technical Support will activate your Clover device and send an onboarding welcome message. Also expect a friendly phone call from a technical sales consultant to help you configure your back office account to exact specifications and begin building your list and processing transactions.
Once your device has been activated you can begin using the Loyal Patron app from Register or Sale as a custom tender integrated with checkout or as a standalone app.
