Loading Gift Value through Future POS

Step 1:  Access your Gift/Loyalty Application

Prior to checkout, select your gift card/loyalty application button (e.g., “Loyal Patron”, “FanCONNECT”). If you don’t see this button on your main screen try tapping FN5.

Step 2:  Swipe Gift Card or Hand-Key ID# 

You will next see the following Swipe Loyalty Card screen used to identify the customer or card. You have a couple identification options.

Swipe a brand new gift card out of the box OR an existing gift card from this screen.  If the card won’t swipe for whatever reason, you can tap Card ID button and hand-key the digits on the back of the card. Leading 0s can be ignored.  


Step 3:  Load Gift Value

On the gift/loyalty toolbar, select the Load Gift button as shown below. 

Use the keypad to enter the gift value amount to load on the gift card, e.g., $25.00, $50.00). Select OK to advance.

Step 4: Close Order to Checkout

From here, close the guest check with cash or credit card to checkout as you would normally do for any menu order.  Gift card loads can be done separately or as part of a guest check of menu items. 

Reconciliation Reporting

All gift card and/or loyalty transactions instantly display in real time on the REPORTING> Reconciliation Report inside your back-office account. A copy of the previous day’s transactions from the Reconciliation report are automatically emailed to authorized users on a daily basis for audit trail reporting and internal control monitoring.

Loading Gift Value through Future POS

This article covers how to load gift value onto a new mag stripe plastic gift card through Future POS.

Step 1:  Access your Gift/Loyalty Application
