1) The Micros Home Screen is shown below where clerks clock in and sign in for their shift.
2) Once logged into Micros, clerks easily assign tables from the user interface prior to entering the menu items ordered.
3) Clerks will then ring up the ticket items (Soup, Salad, Appetizers etc,) for each guest at the table.
4) Once the ticket total displays this screen shows the actual Gift and Loyalty buttons (on bottom left side) for handling rewards issuance, gift loads, redemptions and balance inquiries.
5) This next screen shot shows a sample Micros receipt with the ticket items, name of the customer (Dharmesh Patel in this case). activation status and available Rewards and Gift Balances. The amount of rewards earned is also printed on the receipt. Note the very bottom of the receipt can feature customized footer messages clients can define in the system to thank the customer or even plug sponsors.
6) This next screen below shows the clerk running a Balance Inquiry to retrieve available Gift and Reward Balances and activation status of the card.
7) This screen below shows an error message returned by Micros indicating the card is not activated, which means rewards cannot be redeemed. This control helps ensure only cardholders who have properly activated their card with a proper email address or mobile phone number will have the ability to redeem rewards preloaded or earned through sales activity.
8) This screen below shows a common Insufficient Funds error message when the server attempts to redeem more value then is available on the card.
9) This screen is returning an error message when the redemption amount entered by the clerk is greater then the original sale amount. The redemption amount cannot be greater then the total sale amount. The clerk will need retry the redemption by inputting a lower redemption amount.
