First mouse over an area of the campaign that is free of message content blocks. This could be empty whitespace in the outer margins or the background in the outer margins of the editable campaign area.
Then, click to select it.
The right side of the editor will now display some properties. These properties will apply to the entire row (e.g. background color, background image, padding, etc.).
This section also includes some settings that apply to each column in the row. A row could contain up to 4 columns, and you can control several settings for each column.
