This is not a bug in the email marketing editor but rather a default behavior in the text editor that we use in the Text content block, called TinyMCE. Specifically:
In other words, in this scenario...
... if the users were to start typing after selecting "BOOK YOUR NEXT VISIT TODAY", the formatting of the title would be lost. Notice that the Text content block here only contains one paragraph, the large title.
On the other hand, in this other scenario, where there is a second paragraph in the same Text content block, below the large title...
... the title formatting will NOT be lost.
