1) First, navigate to Tools -> Fraud Detection Suite:
2) Navigate to Suspicious Transactions Filter and for tightest controls, set to: 'Do not authorize, but hold for review'
3) Navigate to the Regional IP Address Filter - Enable this filter and then use it to disable purchases from merchants outside of the Americas.
4) The Daily Velocity Filter would only applies to user transactions from the same IP address. This filter defaults to 10, but can be adjusted as desired.
5) Next, navigate to Enhanced AVS Handling Filter, update the settings to match the following, and click Save.
6) Finally, navigate to Enhanced CCV Handling Filter, update the settings to match the following, and click Save.
The Loyal Patron Authorize.net implementation collects customer first name, last name, city, state, zip, credit card number and CCV number. As such, we recommend the following settings to minimize the chance of fraudulent purchases being made.
